This project presents a two-degree-of-freedom XY motion platform where both X and Y axes are driven by linear motors. Magnetic scales provide precise displacement measurement, limit switches ensure motion safety, and accelerometers on each axis collect dynamic information. The system is controlled via Simulink on a host PC combined with a DAQ device for closed-loop control and data acquisition, supporting motion control experiments, algorithm validation, and dynamic analysis. ---

Signal flow summary: 1. Simulink controller generates motion control commands → motor drivers. 2. Drivers actuate X-axis and Y-axis linear motors to execute motion. 3. Magnetic scales measure X/Y axis displacement. 4. Accelerometers measure X/Y axis acceleration. 5. Limit switches monitor X/Y axis extreme positions. 6. All sensor data and limit switch states feed back to the Simulink controller.
